Why do you need my Discord username?
We will set up dedicated (locked) channels on the Kalypso Discord server for feedback during the betas and need your username to give you access to those channels if you are selected to join one or more beta. If you are not selected, we will not use your Discord username for any purpose and delete it together with your other personal information.
Do I need to have played previous Dungeons games to join this Closed Betas?
No, we are specifically looking for both experienced players and those new to the franchise. All you need is a willingness to give us feedback and thus help us make Dungeons 4 the best it can be.
Okay, I have applied. Now what?
- We'll collect applications for the closed beta until 15th January 2023.
- From these, we'll invite select players to join the closed beta. It doesn't matter what your gaming background is or if you have played the respective game before – we're looking for as diverse an array of players as possible.
- If you are selected, you will receive an invitation e-mail from us asking you to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). Please make sure you use the same e-mail address to sign the NDA as the one you've applied with. If you don't sign the NDA or use a different e-mail address, you cannot join the closed beta.
- One day before the game's closed beta starts, we will send you an e-mail with the Steam key to activate the game.
- With this key, you can download and play the beta during its runtime mentioned above.
- If you encounter any bugs, have questions, or want to give us any other feedback during the beta, head over to our Discord server where a dedicated channel will be available. You'll receive the link to this channel together with the key via e-mail.
- Once you've seen everything, fill out the feedback survey (available in game and sent to you via e-mail).
I have signed the NDA, but have not received a key yet.
Don't worry, we will send the key a day before the closed beta of each game starts.
How can I leave feedback?
There will be a dedicated survey asking for specific details available from the game's main menu and sent to you via e-mail, and you can always head over to our Discord server where a dedicated channel will be available to you. You'll receive the link to this channel via e-mail, together with your Steam key.
How do you process my personal data?
We will only use your personal information as needed to process the closed betas, i.e., to select and contact participants via e-mail, for signing the NDA, to give you access to the feedback channels on our Discord server, and to collect your feedback. All personal information gathered through application and feedback forms associated with the closed beta will be deleted when the evaluation of the closed beta is finished unless legal reasons require keeping the data.
